Bay Area Rescue Mission

"The measure of a man's greatness is not the number of servants he has, but the number of people he serves."

   ---John Hagee

Bay Area Rescue Mission (BARM) is located at 2114 Macdonald Ave in Richmond CA.

We help homeless and struggling neighbors by providing daily essentials like food, shelter, clothing and other critical care needed.  BARM empowers people to rebuild their lives with God's love as a foundation.  We recently opened a brand-new Emergency Shelter located at 200 Macdonald Avenue, Richmond, CA. This facility provides transitional housing up to one year for those looking to start anew.

Serve Opportunities at the Rescue Mission include meal preparation and kitchen clean up, warehouse receiving and distribution of food donations.  Select fund raising and donation collection as well as Holiday Meal coordination and preparation provide additional serve venues.
